Antiquorum’s March 10th & 11th sale achieved outstanding results for its’ auction of ”Important Collectors’ Wristwatches, Pocket Watches & Clocks” totaling an impressive $5,000,388. Amongst the highlights of the sale were a Patek Philippe Ref. 3970 which attained a notable $141,600 and a Patek Philippe Ref. 5059 in platinum which sold for $69,600. Also obtaining great prices were the Officine Panerai PAM 203 ”Luminor 1950 8 Day” which achieved $108,000 and the Tudor chronograph with black dial, Ref. 7032 which sold for an incredible $38,400. As confirmed by these excellent results, prices realized for rare vintage and modern wristwatches have increased by 15% in the past year, making this an excellent time to consign your fine timepieces to Antiquorum’s upcoming sale on June 10th, 2010.
