WHO ARE WE
The ROCHET story is a tale of passion that starts with an exceptional man - Joseph ROCHET. After starting out as an apprentice in a Paris Jewellery shop at the age of 13, ROCHET quickly rose up through the ranks to become a professional Jewellery Craftsman just two short years later, in 1904. In 1907, when he was only 18, he became a Master Craftsman in Geneva. In 1909 he entered into partnership with Edmond Zuccolo, and the pair launched their own creations.

At the age of 20, Joseph ROCHET had already acquired unique, acknowledged know-how in the manufacture of chains made of precious metal (gold, platinum and silver) and has spent the better part of the next forty creating innovative, high quality jewellery. Soon the industrial era would lead to the widespread use of more common metals (brass and copper) with which ROCHET created world famous collections of rings, necklaces, pendants and bracelets. The two partners, having a keen interest in new trends, have now become manufacturers of jewellery on
an industrial scale. They set about modernizing the plant they had opened in Annecy Haute-Savoie in 1919, and made increasing use of steel. Thus, after reigning supreme for millennia, gold and silver were faced with competition from steel in the 1950s – competition which has increased considerably in the 90s. Steel is difficult to work and steel jewellery takes more time and money to develop and is a “headache” for technicians whose job is the breathe life into designers’ creations. It was by no means a foregone conclusion that stainless steel would “carve out” a place for itself in the exclusive world of jewellery.

ROCHET JEWELS
NEW PERFORMANCE
“Performance” is a product line made for action and strongly inspired by motor
sports and aeronautics. “Performance” products have been named “Road”, “Hybrid”, “Track”.
Those are all very evocative words, strengthening the brand positioning and the products character. “Performance” line is made of steel, carbon, titan, materials with technological connotation.

ELEGANCE
With a more classic design, “Elegance” line gets its spirit from travels and yachting. Mirror and satin steel are contrasting with Technogold® finishes and create together some chic and refined products. Bracelets, pendants and cuff links are available.

URBAN
In 2012 Rochet strengthens its range of fashion products. The URBA N collection comes back with new & trendy models. Pendant inspired from GI badges, bracelet made of braided leather or steel, the look of the range is definitely contemporary with a 100% street & urban DNA. These
small price products will be welcomed by young men.

CERAMIc
Between innovation and tradition, Rochet has launched a new range of ceramic jewels (matt or shiny). Matt ceramic has an elegant and high-performance aspect. ROCHET watches
NEW DIVE
Just for diving amateurs, Rochet has created a line made for use under water. Technically and aesthetically advanced, those models will suit any sports water lovers: 20 AT M waterproof, screwed crown and back case, stainless steel 316 L, diving extension…There is as well a limited edition which is just unique: DLC coating for more resistance to scratch and corrosion and AGS movement that gives up to 6 months power. The watch is provided in an exclusive box with a
waterproof torch.

Yachting
Both elegant and sporty the line is a real immersion in sea world. The black ceramic CAP CODE model is an exclusive watch with black ceramic bezel, delivered in a Cordura box with black

RACE
This line is the deepest of the Rochet watches collection. All has been thought to recall motor sport: eyes like a speedometer, big date in a triple tree, bezel like a brake disc… Even perforated leather of straps reminds gentlemen drivers’ gloves. Step up to the challenge!

AERO
This is the last-born of Rochet watches collection. The line offers a total immersion in aeronautics world: artificial horizon, controls (altimeter, compass), big hands. Both elegant and sporty, the
design of aeronautics models will be appreciated by all plane lovers. A new “BLACK HORNET” limited edition with multiple functions will soon be available: alarm, strong colours code, chronometer + date, tachymeter. This limited edition is 100% aeronautics oriented and will
be delivered in an exclusive bow the sunglasses and replacement lenses.

Team Tech3
As official sponsor of Tech3 in Moto 2, Rochet has designed one limited edition watch. This watch takes its design from the team and is strongly inspired by motor sports and competition. It’s a very good balance of technology, high quality material, mechanical inspiration, sport design and watch-making know-how. Each watch is delivered with a piece of one of the 18 brake discs used during the 18 races of 2010 season. It’s a real collector’s piece. Only 144 watches all numbered and engraved with the date and name of the race are available. More that just a limited edition, this watch box is a collector’s item.

Ben Spies
Since Ben Spies won the 2010 Rookie of the year MotoGP title, a lot has been said and written about him. For more than one year Rochet is proud to partner with Ben for watches and Jewellery. The Champion chose to kick off Yamaha’s 50th Anniversary of Grand Prix Racing,
to claim his first ever MotoGP race win at the Assen TT, remarkable feat. In his special white and red livery to mark the anniversary celebration, the texan rider delivered a flawless performance
and finished in 41’44.659. Ben made once again the news after his Rookie of the year title in 2010 championship. To celebrate this great win at Assen TT, Rochet developed for Ben an exclusive
“1st GP Victory” watch. This limited edition watch is available at only 211 pieces. It is delivered in a nice box with a fountain pen in carbon.
