Once again, the prestigious Swiss watch industry will be presenting the cream of its latest creations
at BASELWORLD, the World Watch and Jewellery Show.

Reuge, which has been represented at the Show for the past 65 years, has collaborated this time
with two world-renowned Swiss companies, Swiss Precious Metals and Caran d’Ache, in order to
create a unique piece, the Golden Dragon Music Box.

The lid of this incomparable music box is made from a sheet of 18ct Swiss gold weighing one kilo on which the outline of a magnificent Imperial five-claw-footed Chinese dragon has been inlaid in burr walnut. The dragon is depicted playing with a fire pearl which represents luck and wealth.

When opened, the Golden Dragon Music Box not only plays a crystalline reproduction of the theme tune from the film The Last Emperor, but also turns out to be a writing box containing three superb lacquered Caran d’Ache writing implements with 18ct gold plating.
