Limited Edition in Platinum

Only 18 units of this special version of the Galet Micro-Rotor will be produced by Laurent Ferrier. The enamel grand feu white dial hides the famous micro-rotor calibre FBN 229.01, developed, finished and assembled in Laurent Ferrier’s workshop. With a small second at 6 o’clock, the dial is elegantly complemented by hands made of 18K gold in a unique design known as « sagaie », inspired by spears. Visibility is enhanced thanks to the harmonious graphic layout of the indexes and roman numerals in black, the minute rail trackand the sub-second dial in blue.

Not only does this platinum 950 limited edition literally overflow with horological innovations, its esthetics indicate strongly its neo-classic influence.


A double impulse

Laurent Ferrier developed a calibre for a new generation, fitted with an escapement with silicon anchor, with a direct double impulse on the balance wheel. Inspired by Abraham-Louis Breguet’ s « natural » escapement, this movement, automatically wound by an excentred micro-rotor, is the result of an exclusive development. With a diameter of 14’’ and a thickness of 4.35 mm, its power reserve extends to over 80 hours. This modern construction, combined with the application of space age materials allows an optimum energy distribution and excellent efficiency.
