Welcome to the 10th edition of the Inside Concord.

After an exhilarating Baselworld, we are pleased to say that we stood out once again from the challenge and achieved a remarkable result that reassures us a bright year ahead.

Right from the initial launch of the C2 chronograph last year, we have been able to establish a momentum that is further increased with the introduction of the 2012 urban design concepts.
We are very excited with the marketing initiatives around these unique and vibrant novelties and cannot
wait to share them with you.

While we celebrate urban life with our C2 novelties, we are also equally pleased with the introduction of the new Saratoga as it steadily redefines its legendary positioning in the Gulf. We expect the Saratoga 25th anniversary edition to rekindle the passion of the many loyal friends of this mythical and important historical line from Concord. This was already eviden during the premiere launch we had in Doha, Qatar which made fantastic headlines.

While Alvaro Quiros was gearing up for the Qatar Masters last January, we took the opportunity to introduce the Concord-Quiros partnership in the official launch of Saratoga and the C2 chronograph at the Four Seasons Hotel Doha, Qatar. Sheikh Nawaf Bin Nasser Al Thani and the team from Amiri Gems were pleased to receive our enthusiastic VIP clients for this exclusive premiere. The event served
as a perfect pre-opening of the prestigious Doha International Watch and Jewellery fair held two weeks later.

Dubai double and desert triple for Alvaro Quiros
Dubai, December 2011

Alvaro Quiros has made European Tour History by becoming the first man to win all three European Tour desert events, winning the seasonending Dubai World championship.

Concord’s agent in Dubai, Ahmed Seddiqi represented by Mr Mohammed Seddiqi, CEO Christophe Nicaise and Concord Regional Sales Manager Abdallah Mouaffak made a point of personally visiting the event to congratulate Quirós on his stellar performance.

Concord launches the C2 Chronograph and Saratoga 25th Anniversary edition with Alvaro Quiros in Doha, Qatar.

General Manager Flavio Pellegrini and regional brand manager Abdallah Mouaffak presented the C2 collection and the new Saratoga 25th Anniversary edition, respectively, to the local and Pan Arab press and VIP clients. His Excellency Sheikh Nawaf BIN NASSER AL THANI and Amiri Gems were also present in the event. Two weeks later, Concord had an excellent International Watch and Jewellery Fair as represented by Amiri Gems.

The event also gave the perfect opportunity to introduce the Spanish golf champion, Alvaro Quiros as the
new ambassador. His excellency Sheikh Nawaf Bin Nasser Al Thani and Amiri Gems were also present in
the event.

Concord unraveled the brand new C1 BlackSpider Tourbillon Brilliant and the 2 new striking editions of
the C2 Chronograph. Concord also gave a preview of the new concept being introduced this year called the C2 Y-12 editions. The Y-12 editions were inspired by various urban elements.

The C1 BlackSpider undergoes a dramatic
mutation, evolving into a shimmering
new form of horological life.

The inner bezel ring is the most delicate part of the case. It serves to fix the movement to the case middle and also plays a considerable role in the movement aesthetic. The version presented is all more complex in that it has just been set with diamonds.

Numerous stages are necessary to transform rough diamonds into cut diamonds, including: Observation, to choose the correct rough diamond, cleaving to split a stone along its grain, sawing to cut
a shape approximating the shape of the finished cut stone, gridling to round the gridle of the rough diamonds into a conical shape cutting to create the facets

Concord introduces a new C1 BlackSpider Brilliant movie

This Together with the launch of the C1 BlackSpider Brilliant, Concord is presenting an electrifying new
movie on this amazing timepiece during Baselworld 2012.

The movie has been created to unveil the dramatic mutation with dazzling diamond brilliance adorning
its horological arachnid body parts. This fascinating movie has been created with the agency Le Truc,
based in Geneva.
