JORDI Swiss Icon reaches out to a top-flight international clientele
Geneva, May 2012. From May 4th to 31st 2012, JORDI Swiss Icon will be featured in the Espace Platinum shopping area of Geneva Airport. An opportunity for the brand to offer a preview of its ladies’ watch collection, as well as to share its unique and fascinating universe with visitors from around the world.
The strategy is certainly dynamic. Building on a concept and a signature that applied a strong appeal right from the time of the brand launch in autumn 2011, JORDI Swiss Icon is pursuing its development in a determined, controlled and elegant manner.
The second stage was marked the opening of a flagship store opening in Zurich last November. There, as elsewhere in Switzerland, the company’s pro-active approach has made all the difference by establishing a concept mingling established know-how and resolutely contemporary aesthetics with the ancestral Swiss art of paper-cutting, the famous “Scherenschnitt”, revisited by talented designers. The public has been won over by this combination that is unique on the Swiss watchmaking scene.
JORDI Swiss Icon is now setting out to meet an international clientele that loves Switzerland and senses its strength and its beauty, and a national clientele proud to carry the torch of Swiss culture both at home and abroad. Switzerland is indeed iconic through its mountain peaks and its breathtaking scenery, and also because of the traditions and time-honoured crafts that are still perpetuated there.
This evocative power will be reflected from May 4th to 31st 2012 in the JORDI Swiss Icon boutique of the Espace Platinum shopping area. This is a first, since Geneva Airport had never previously authorised a sales area within this prestigious international hub.
The JORDI Swiss Icon universe is staged in such a way as to capture the imagination by offering travellers a breath of fresh air and a warm, relaxing interlude. They can wander freely among four large pillars equipped with 16 screens showing a film illustrating the brand and its values. The various watch collections, and in particular the exclusive preview of the ladies’ collection, are displayed in showcases providing entirely natural settings. Visitors can also enjoy discovering the brand’s range of lifestyle products, featuring leather goods, foulards and stoles, along with men’s and women’s shirts in a palette of summery colours.
There is a natural urge to touch these alluring objects: the watches inspired by the round, soft shape of a Rhône river pebble polished through countless ages, along with the leather, silk and supple leather of the accessories – all of which represent an authentic invitation to embark upon a pleasurable journey.
