9 September 2012. Lewis Hamilton dominated today’s Italian Grand Prix for McLaren, to score his first-ever win at motorsport’s cathedral of speed and the team’s third victory on the trot. Lewis controlled the race from the front to win.

After his victory in Spa, Jenson looked set for second until he unfortunately lost drive on the back straight on the 33rd lap.

In the drivers’ stakes, Lewis is now second.
