The biggest team event in golf, the Ryder Cup, gets under way on Friday September 28 in Medinah, Illinois, in the US. Team Europe, consisted of twelve (12) players out of which four (4) are Audemars Piguet Ambassadors, will defend its well-earned title clinched in Wales two years ago against Team USA. Rory McIlroy, Lee Westwood, Graeme McDowell and Ian Poulter are the four golfers playing united to maintain the title for Europe while Darren Clarke and Miguel Angel Jiménez have been appointed vice-captains. An event that attracts worldwide interest, the Ryder Cup, occurring every two years, is the absolute mix of national pride and sportsmanship.
