The San Sebastián Film Festival, sponsored by Jaeger-LeCoultre and celebrating its 60th anniversary this year, is recognized as most important film festival in Spain.
On September 29th, the Jury announced the Golden Shell award that went to the film “Dans La Maison” of the French director Francois Ozon.
The Special Jury Award, which is the second most important award in the Festival, went to the black and white Spanish film "Blancanieves" (“Snow White”).
This film will also represent Spain in the 85th edition of the Oscars in the category of best foreign language film, as it was announced last Thursday.
The Spanish actress Maribel Verdu starring in the film looked stunning with the Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso.
Great Spanish actress Angela Molina, playing in the film, attended the Festival and graced the Jaeger-LeCoultre Suite wearing a Jaeger-LeCoultre Rendez-Vous watch.
The Silver Shell for Best Director went to the Spanish Fernando Trueba (who won an Oscar in 1994 for his film "La Belle Epoque") for his film "El Artista y la Modelo", also a black and white film.
The actress starring in the film, Aida Folch, sported a Jaeger-LeCoultre Grande Reverso Ultra-Thin and a High Jewellery Vintage watch from 1955 during the Festival.
During the Festival, Isabelle Huppert, French actress, appeared wearing her Reverso watch.
Portuguese actor Joachim de Almeida attended the Festival, sponsored by Jaeger-LeCoultre, among many other reputed guests. |
