Quinting receives Russia on a gold platter

Pascal Berclaz, President of Quinting, the first and only Manufacture in the world creating completely transparent watches, visited Russia within invitation of the official distributor in Russia – Gold Union.


Moscow and St-Petersburg
Now all questions regarding distribution, promotion and service of Quinting watches in Russia will be engaged Jewelry House Gold Union, (already in Russia representing brands such as Boucheron and Korloff). This company is located in St. Petersburg and has boutiques in Moscow and St. Petersburg.

In the Gold Union shop in Moscow Pascal Berclaz met media and had a huge feedback. Among the guests were: Chronoscope internet magazine, Elle Magazine, Watch Magazine, Top Flight Magazine, Dorogoye Udovolstviye Magazine, InStyle Man Magazine, Watch Business and My Watch Magazines, Armband Uhren Magazine, YACHTS Russia magazine, Glamour Magazine, GQ Magazine, Revolution Russian Edition Magazine, Fashion Collection Magazine and others.

A 100% transparent sapphire movement
Pascal Berclaz held the attention of guests who were listening with great interest about the history of the brand that was able to realize a dream of many watchmakers and created a totally transparent sapphire movement. 7 years of research and development and 15 million euro of investment were necessary to take on the challenge.

Exclusive Timepieces
Journalists were impressed not only the fantastic Quinting watch engineering, but also the enamel craftsmanship created within the unique Gold Art and Art collections and new collections Hypnose and Zodiac. Quinting’s 100% transparent watches with a layered sapphire movement are a blank canvas for original art. With our artists’ skills and creativity, we were able to create hand-painted, stunning one-of-a-kind pieces.

The Moonlight: World premiere
The Moonlight is the demonstration of Quinting’s ingenuity par excellence: it is the first watch in the world truly showing the Moon phases in space. Each single piece represents a different view of the Earth, in both sides, and the Moon is turning around, as well as a shooting star, always happy to realize your wishes. The Moonlight is a 360 pieces limited edition, with reference to the 360° of longitude. Each hand decorated enameled earth is focused on a particular city and each one is only produced once. Gold Union show windows have now the honor of proposing in exclusivity the Moscow and St-Petersburg Moonlights.

“The fantastic effect of the Quinting watches was valued by the company Gold Union. It decided to become the official distributor of this Swiss brand in Russia (...) Quinting secret is that components of the movement are hided around the perimeter of a round body and hide all its parts under the opaque metal rim. We can see only hands. This genius solution gives designers an opportunity to experiment with design of the Quinting watches. Sapphire discs of watches were encrusted with diamonds. When we asked how it was possible "to put" precious stones in to hard and non-plastics materials, Pascal Berclaz said: “If I say, our know-how cease to be unique”.”
