RITMO MUNDO TIME GROUP ANNOUNCES PGA GOLFER DAVID LYNN AS A GLOBAL BRAND AMBASSADOR
BEVERLY HILLS, CA (February 15th, 2013) – The Ritmo Mundo Time Group, known globally for manufacturing fashion forward watches blending Italian style with Swiss craftsmanship, has signed up British professional golfer David Lynn as an international ambassador for the Ritmo Mundo and Reflex brands. Lynn, who finished second in the 2012 U.S. PGA Championships behind Rory McIlroy, will debut his Ritmo Mundo timepiece this weekend at the Northern Trust Tournament at the Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, California.
“I’ve always wanted to expose the Ritmo Mundo brand to the world of golf,” said Ali Soltani, President of Ritmo Mundo Time Group. “We found a great asset for endorsing our watch brands in David Lynn with his British charm and professional demeanor to represent both Ritmo Mundo and Reflex to the world of golf.”
“I’m very excited to be working with Ali Soltani and the team at Ritmo Mundo,” said Lynn. “They have a great organization which focuses on a variety of watch brands catering to active and stylish people who stand out in the crowd, not unlike me. With Ritmo in my corner, I can rest assured that I will never miss my tee time.”
Translated from Italian, Ritmo Mundo means “rhythm of the earth”, a fitting name for a company that is truly in tune with the style trends of the timepiece moment. At the heart of the company is a vision and drive to foster creativity, as well as striving to bring forth unique fashion minded designs. The Ritmo Mundo Time Group currently consists of 3 core brands: Ritmo Mundo, Reflex, and Izod. In addition to their foray into the world of professional golf, the company continues to be highly involved in motorsports racing, as many of today’s top IZOD IndyCar Series drivers adorn their watches on and off the racetrack.
Born in Billinge, Merseyside, England, David Lynn learned his golf game during the prominence of notable English golfer Nick Faldo. After turning pro in 1995 at the age of 21 years old, Lynn has finished inside The European Tour’s Top 90 on the money list for 13 consecutive years. In 2012, he posted a personal-best Race to Dubai standing of #18 and an official world golf ranking of #46, including eight Top-20 finishes. Last August, Lynn roared into Kiawah Island in North Carolina and recorded a runner-up finish at the U.S. PGA Championships. It was only his second career Major appearance, and with this finish Lynn decided to compete on the PGA Tour in 2013 and he will now be invited to play in all four Major Championship tournaments.
