Vogue Paris called Lee Siegelson “New York’s King of Jewelry, the Manhattan dealer who nourishes the dreams of high jewelry admirers.” Author Pierre Groppo explained that the gallery displays, “the most beautiful European Art Deco jewelry collection, signed Cartier, Raymond Templier, Boucheron, or Van Cleef & Arpels. . . . The icing on the cake, Lee Siegelson designs some pieces himself, but only when the stones–like a Golconda diamond weighing more than 30 carats–are really worth it. Dazzling and breathtaking.”
Steve King of Vanity Fair London called Siegelson “a distillation of all that was best about the Paris Biennale as a whole: a superbly curated show-within-the-show, an immaculate little shrine to the gods of Art Deco, a perfectly well mannered riot of elegance and ebullience.”
Siegelson, a third-generation New York dealer, is recognized as a leading source of and authority on rare jewelry, gemstones, and objects of art. Siegelson is a leading supporter of museum exhibitions around the world, lending to more than 20 exhibitions in the last 10 years with 5 important pieces currently on loan to Inventing the Modern World at The Carnegie Museum of Art.
