design
alfex presents its new website, www.alfex.com. this is a completely new and strongly product-oriented web space intended to amplify the message of the brand which, with its plans for a relaunch this year, aims to maximise the design content of its timepieces.
graphic layout
its minimal graphics are characterised by clean lines, with an elegant totally white luminous light effect which creates an ideal backdrop that highlights the still life images of the watches.
the user is welcomed on the home page with a gallery of the models presented at the recent baselworld fair. the presentation opens with the model that best embodies the current alfex icon: the translucent 8x watch. the cover flow technique, also usable on tablets and smartphones, ensures perfect image flow.
site structure is essential and intuitive. the user is taken immediately to the collections of timepieces. they are presented through convenient drop-down menus and classified into macro-categories (woman, man, pair, automatic). through the images of individual watches, with a simple click, the user can access full technical specifications of every detail.
content
the new website was designed to be both a working tool for the brand’s distributors worldwide and a fast tool for consultation and access to knowledge by end customers, and always with a user-friendly approach.
although the emphasis is on the impact of its images, the alfex.com website is also rich in content and information for different target groups. through the footer menus, the user can access pages dedicated to the brand’s history, the press area and links to social networks: facebook and pinterest. the alfex website is also a platform providing information to press reporters who want more (corporate and product) information on the brand. press releases and press kits are available for downloading together with an archive of images that can be accessed by registering through the form at the bottom of the screen on the “database” menu page.
next steps
the alfex.com website has been launched in english, but is also being developed in german, french, italian, russian and chinese and will be available shortly in these languages. the launch of the online shopping section is planned for this autumn.
