The International Jewellery Meeting in Cordoba has been a success and the organization highlights the quantum leap over the old Joyacor.
After a week of activities and business meetings the International Cordovan Jewellery Meeting closes with a balance very positive. Highlights the Technical Conferences about Internationalization where participate more than one hundred professionals who discovered the best way to sell their jewellery and penetrate in international markets by great professionals who contributed with their experience. "These days not only served to learn, but also to do business" said Milagrosa Gómez, president of the Provincial Association of Jewelers, Silversmiths and Watchmakers San Eloy of Cordova, who noted that Cordovan jewelers have "internationalize their designs counting with entrepreneurs and experts in the field". Highlighted the high level of the speakers and the participation of international renowned companies that were part of this event such as the Russian Ringo or the multinational leader in direct sales jewelry by catalogue, Cristian Lay. She also highlighted the participation of new companies with innovative initiatives as StoreHy, the new platform for the wholesaler, or Double Experienc , a company specialized in the comprehensive management of sensorial marketing through touch technology. They were a conferences focused on SMEs with presentations from Spanish consultants and from other countries that focused their speeches around three general lines: market trends, the big jewellery companies and the security for the companies.
Another success of the International Meeting was the Reverse Trade Mission which included the participation of 23 Spanish companies and 20 foreign companies and was based on dialogue and business. Foreign buyers took the opportunity to express their views about the Cordovan jewellery and about the development of the meeting in general. This 'Panel of Expecience' was attended by jewellers from Croatia, Estonia, Russia, Ukraine, Poland, Belgium, France, Lebanon and the Netherlands, who managed the direct contact with Cordovan companies and returned to their countries excited about the Cordovan product, they also to expressed their interest in participating again in another edition. During the business meetings could match supply and demand resulting in the generation business. In addition to close deals, the meetings served to generate contacts between local and foreign companies, which are vital for the survival of Cordovan jewellery sector whose future depends on exports.
The jewelry exhibitions held in parallel to the conferences also had very good acceptance.
