The 4th edition of Espaijoia will dedicate a space to the jewellery of author

Within the Barcelona Jewellery Week will take place the 4th edition of Espaijoia from 10th to 13th of October, the professional meeting where participate experienced professionals, young designers and all those operators that are part of most dynamic and young professional forum of the jewelry industry.

Espaijoia will be held in the Sala Marqués de Comillas of the Drassanes Reials of Barcelona. For its 4th edition it demonstrates again the commitment with the jewellery industry. This time, the organization will focus part of its efforts to promote the handcrafted jewellery, which often creates one-of-a-kind pieces. To this end, it will create an exhibition space dedicated to this kind of jewellery: "Author's Gallery".

Since its beginning, Espaijoia has always demonstrated its commitment to the industry, understanding the jewellery's different styles. The design talents has always been represented through the exhibition of a selection of pieces from the international community of artists who are part of the "Contemporary Jewellery Yearbook", which is published by Grupo Duplex.

In this edition Espaijoia calls again the José Arquero Award aimed to the Jewellery Schools' students, in which takes part works selected by the schools. The winner get a free stand in the next edition of the show, giving a commercial boost to his/her creations.

The commitment of the show with the emerging values is also reflected in the fact that the jewellery students will be able to enter the fairgrounds free of charge as well as attend the conferences and lectures that will be held.

Timetable: 10am to 8pm. Last day: 10am to 6pm
