Swiss luxury watchmaker Breguet has recently reopened its London flagship store on Bond Street after extensive renovation and expansion works.
The enlarged store now covers 190sq m over three retail floors displaying an assortment of timepieces and jewellery. Advanced design and technology have been used to frame the products of a brand more than 200 years in the making.

The dominant colour is the warm brown of the walnut and leather fittings. Pearly glass walls pick up on the arabesque decorations of Clous de Paris dials. The ellipses on the ceiling reproduce the oval shape of the Reine de Naples, the first wristwatch ordered from Abraham Louis Breguet by Caroline Murat, Queen of Naples, in 1810.

Led lighting is managed by a centrally automated light control system, with additional discrete integrated privacy panels on each floor. Visitors can reach each floor via a glass lift or stairway with grey granite walls. A room screening interactive films depicting watchmaking and Breguet’s workshops in Vallee de Joux will also be accessible to customers. A third floor VIP lounge houses a Breguet library and offers superb views along Bond Street.
