A Regional Director for Travel Retail who will keep on building and further develop Montblanc as the undisputed leader in male luxury accessories in Travel Retail.

The Regional Director Travel Retail reports directly to the President of International Travel Retail.

He/She will manage the Area Sales Manager and a Key Account Supervisor.



Responsabilités

Responsible for the top line, OPEX (recharge), A&P, S&D and CAPEX of TR MEIA
Responsibility for the performance and development of the respective markets
Continuous development and execution of the regional Travel Retail sales strategy for the categories watches, writing instruments, jewellery and leather (business planning, launches and performance analysis)
Continuous execution of the brand strategy
Hires, leads, and acts as advisor to sales team regarding projects, tasks and operations
Formulates sales team’s goals and objectives and motivates staff to attain them
Key-account Management
Steering sell-out in our Boutiques, Shop in shops and Inflight
Constantly seeks for new business opportunities in our sales channel
Ensure expansion plan in the region
Negotiate business terms with partners
Closely follow-up opening / refurbishment projects with architects
Transfer to concessionaires’ retail staff Montblanc Product knowledge and Visual Merchandising standards
Regularly visit in person key customers for business reviews and open to buy alignment vs. budget (40% of travels, including fairs in Cannes and Geneva and reviews in HQ in Hamburg)
Ensure all customers have an appropriate product range, with constant update of the model assortment per account / Channel and control of the respective stock & assortment in the stores, by joint alignment with the Area Sales Manager (ASM)
Ensure brand presentation is up to standards (product, displays, pricing, windows, service) in Boutiques and Shops in shops by close supervision of the Key Account Supervisor (KAS)
Develop Marketing activities with the partners in line with strategy, keeping in line the commercial relevance
Manage A&P, S&D, OPEX and CAPEX and respect requirements and deadlines from Management and Finance
Produce and present annual Sales plan and Budgets for the region to the International Travel Retail President (ITRP) and board of Directors
Monthly update reports with the ITRP and Finance coordinator in Hamburg
Animate periodical meetings with ASM and KAS to drive the business and align with the strategy
Quarterly budget review, liaising with local and Hamburg Finance
Prepares monthly reports for the Brand headquarters
Ensure fulfilment of Montblanc and Richemont Compliance regulations


Profil

Required Education/Experience:
Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field - Masters degree preferred
5 to 7 years experience in Travel Retail including management of Middle-East key clients
Minimum 5 years experience managing and motivating a sales team
Technical skills / abilities:
Strong knowledge in sales, distribution and marketing strategies and techniques
Strong knowledge of the luxury products field
Proven leadership and organizational abilities that enables him to establish and achieve organizational goals
Ability to identify and motivate key contributors
Proven sales track record
Familiar with international variances in cultural and legal issues as pertaining to sales
Microsoft office Word, Excel, and Powerpoint required
Fluent in English, Arabic is a plus
